Moral Education in
Montessori and from Grade 9 onwards is all about nurturing the heart
and building character. It’s not a textbook subject, it's practical,
real, and age-appropriate. We use fun, activity-based learning where
students engage in meaningful tasks that connect to Qur’an, Hadith, and
stories of the Sahaba. Instead of regular class discussions, we hold
halaqah sessions, where students reflect together and learn through the
prophetic model. Themes like honesty, empathy, responsibility, and
respect for young students and Mental health, Tahaara, Islamic manners
in the senior classes are explored in a way that feels relevant to their
everyday lives. The focus is on helping students grow into emotionally
aware, morally strong Muslims who make choices with Allah ﷻ in mind.
Leader in Me is
integrated with Islamic teachings, turning leadership habits into life
skills grounded in Qur’anic principles, Seerah stories, Rightly guided
companions and our pious predecessors. Each of the 7 Habits is linked to
a spiritual concept for example, Being Proactive aligns with having a
strong niyyah (intention) and sense of accountability before Allah,
while Seeking First to Understand is rooted in the prophetic habit of
listening with wisdom and empathy. Students are trained to lead
themselves first with self-discipline, gratitude, and tawakkul and then
become a positive influence on others.
Induction Training 2025–26
This category is designed specifically for new inductees who joined after the official induction training sessions or were unable to attend them. The purpose of this section is to provide easy access to subject-wise recorded sessions to ensure all new staff members receive consistent guidance, support, and professional learning from the beginning of their journey at AlHuda International School.

The QRM (Qur’an Recitation and Memorization) Program at AlHuda International School is designed to enhance students’ recitation skills, fulfilling an essential obligation upon every Muslim—to recite the Qur’an correctly and with understanding. Rooted in our vision of bringing the Qur’an to every hand and every heart, the program focuses not only on the mechanics of recitation but on connecting learners spiritually to the Divine Message.
At the heart of this program is the commitment to teaching the Qur’an as it was revealed and recited by the Prophet Muhammad ﷺ. With a structured and comprehensive approach, students are guided through the correct application of Tajweed rules, proper pronunciation through Makharij (articulation points), and the mastery of Sifaat (attributes of letters). Special attention is also given to developing an authentic Arabic accent, allowing students to recite the Qur’an with clarity, beauty, and reverence.
Furthermore, the program emphasizes Waqf (pausing) and Ibtida (starting) rules, enabling students to recite with correct meanings and fluency, avoiding common mistakes that could alter the intended message of the verses.
Through the QRM Program, we strive to instill not just technical skills, but a deep love and respect for the Qur’an—nurturing hearts that are spiritually attuned, minds that are intellectually engaged, and tongues that recite the Book of Allah with sincerity and precision.
Islamic Studies (Montessori–Grade 7) focuses on planting the love of Allah ﷻ and His Messenger ﷺ from the earliest years. The Darussalam curriculum in Primary Section is selected thoughtfully due to its structured approach to build a strong foundation in Aqeedah, Ibaadah, Seerah, Akhlaaq through age-appropriate stories, interactive discussions, and practical application. The goal is not just to teach Islam, but to live Islam, helping children understand, practice, and reflect the teachings of the Qur’an and Sunnah in daily life.
